What I Built

  • Assisted mechanical assembly
  • Helped resolve practical fit-up and fabrication issues

Technical Details

Medusai is a large robotic sculpture with interactive arms, sound, light, touch, and motion. Daniel's role focused on fabrication and assembly rather than AI/control design.

My Role

Daniel contributed to mechanical fabrication, welding, CAD interpretation, and practical build support.

Challenges and Debugging

  • Translating CAD references into physical assembly
  • Resolving fit-up issues during fabrication
  • Working with steel welding and mechanical tolerances
  • Supporting a large-scale electromechanical build

Results

  • Helped streamline the build process
  • Supported fabrication of the final robotic sculpture structure
